Yes was a really great run out although a bit cold(even with the heated seats )some good roads if a little bumpy at times, must have been worse in the Tigers i think. Clive you must try harder on the hilly bits, once is forgivable but twice must have given Graham just a bit of a panic. Graham are you SURE you kept to the speed limit after the roundabout incident !! well done on catching up though, top effort. Also might i suggest you carry a spare petrol can(full) next time if only to stop me from worrying that you are going to run out before we get to the next station JUST down the road(20 miles is not JUST down the road Clive!) All made for a great day though, whens the next one?? neil

I was JUST a tad over the limit . i did have a full can on board just in case . And yes that other station JUST down the road was a bit too far for me also. A really good run though did anyone measure how far it was ? I need to fit my head rest this week ,necks a bit stiff holding it up against the wind ,I like driving the car this way though . Graham

Sorry forgot to set my trip meter so not sure on the mileage but a fair few i would think.I know what you mean about the stiff neck, used to have the same problem when i had my small screen and wearing a helmet, not too bad on short blast's but not so good on a full day's driving especially when some motorway's /dual carriageway's involved and the constant high speed.
As for next week there is another Midlands Breakfast Club meeting on Sunday 24 oct, at RAF COSFORD, Clive/sue and I and a few others have been in the past if we can't come up with any other ideas it could be an option, weather permitting.

Hi Graham those pics i sent you don't look as good as yours i think its because i zoomed in on them on my phone before putting them on computer. As for RAF Cosford in the past we've travelled down the A49 @ A41 and met Neil part way down the A49 no need to touch any motorways save your neck muscles, and lot more scenic run. The milage on sunday from my home and back was 174mls .

hi Clive , ok no problem with the route , and I've put a headrest on my seat now .Just used a piece of steel square box section screwed to the back and holes for the headrest to drop through .Not a bad job if i say so myself cheers G W
