Decided to go for a new set of wheels , 15 X 6.5 Team Dynamics Monza R in black . with my wheels catching the wheel arch now I'm going from ET22 to ET38 so the wheels move inwards by 16mm . But with going from 7inch to 6.5 inch in width the inside edge is only moving 9mm inwards .May have to move front wings ,will see . Got wheel & tyre package from WHEELBASE . Going from 205/50 tyres to 195/50 tyres so will be a bit thinner also . see pic Graham Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Hi T , went and picked them up today from oldham , wheelbase have a big wheel/tyre place there. Only got 4 wheels so went looking for a space saver wheel .Picked one up for a tenner of a focus ,it looks brandnew . Have ordered a cover to go over it as it looks a bit naff on the back . but will do the job . Hope to get them on ,on Sunday . graham

Hi mate, I need to take it off the road for a bit to do the gearbox and fit a new crank seal but i'm leaving it a bit longer, still plenty of sunny days around at mo. Ye got a padded breathable cover, expensive but worth it. Tony

nice one T , I have an outdoor cover but haven't used it yet was going to cover it up in the garage but I always ended up doing things to it . My latest idea is to move the oil filler cap on the rocker cover to the rear and block up the hole .Have bought a 2nd hand cover from ebay .So I will have a go on that one .Also sent for a new header tank so will move that to the bulkhead to give me room .think I will get a catch tank to match .Going to be very shiney under the bonnet when I've finished . Hi T & C , I had a look at them when they came out but a bit expensive for a steering rack . But I wish sometimes that the steering could be a lot faster . The standard rack ( cortina one is say 3.7 turns end to end ) A quick rack (its an escort one is only 2.4 turns end to end ) More for racing I think but less movement of the wheel for the same effect . Nice on tony . Found this pic of the kit Graham
