Will do... By the way..I see you have bike carbs. The guys at Chester Sportscars suggest I change my Dellorto 45s (which spit, pop and bang) for a set of bike carbs. In your view, do they work??

Hi Paul I had a set of Alpha Webber throttle bodies with fuel injection on my Zetec these were fitted and set up by Webcon in Sunbury I had them for 7 years they served me well however 2 years ago I changed to Bike carbs with Megajolt management from CSC I found that they work better smoother and I found I had more torque and more power all be it a little thirstier a small price to pay In my opinion go for it it's a world away from Dellorto's PS fancy coming out for a run on Sunday? Thanks Trev...I didn't read your invite for a run until it was too late to do anything about it. The car has now had all the work done on the brakes - drilled and vented larger front discs, with green stuff pads and better brake hoses. Rear drums converted to disks. Uprated Westfield gear linkage and new clutch cable fitted.
Far more important that the car stops - consistently - than any fancy seats or go faster bits at this stage.
Also easier to change gear.
The next thing (after Xmas) will be a set of bike carbs, and a quieter silencer. At the moment, old ladies are fainting...
Then set about the engine fully......
Then change the colour from black.... etc etc..

Does anyone know where I can get the rear silencer for a Tiger E1? One that will pass at Oulton Park....or a good way of making my existing one quieter? There are clip-on things on ebay, but are they any good? Thanks again
