If you have a look at the post " sump change " you can see the motor in place .

Taken the plunge, new starter ordered today - same as yours Graham
Will be examining your photos v. carefully to see where I'll get the fouling problems!
I'll keep you posted - wish I could successfully embed photos in these posts, whatever I try doesn't seem to work!

Chris, photobucket works well on here when posting images, just copy the URL from your picture into the post and it should work.

I'm beginning to think its something to do with member status!
Have tried imageshack and the many different type of links they provide and none of them work.
Might give photobucket a quick go but I don't hold out much hope

Well new starter in, big chunk cut off plate holding engine mount as per Graham but very little clearance with chassis member nearer the bulkhead, will have to check this when hot and be carefull! I'll worry about the need for a solution if there is a real problem just a little worried at the moment.
On the plus side it starts like a dream when cold, sounds a bit like a motorbike turning over but so what. Haven't been out in it to get it really hot yet so might be not so happy after the week end!

Yes chris I had same problem with the chassis rail had to move the cables that were fixed to it . Not had any probs though .
