Is the pub meet deffo Tues as last time it was on a Wednesday? Just trying to plan some stuff out for next week, so can someone confirm?

Back on the grid after 2 weeks in sunny Rhodes glad you had a good Scotland trip look forward to hearing about it. Should be able to make tuesday but will have to bring the little one as I can't get a sitter (and she is pestering me to take her because it's school holiday). I've done some comparative costs for a trip to North Italy (Lakes, Verona, Stelvio Pass, Gavia Pass, etc.). They compare various ways of getting there at minimal cost and / or mileage. ( one choice is to drive all the way there, but there are other less stressful ways which are not as expensive as I thought...).
I'm going next year. If it's on my own, I'll go in the Boxster, but am happy to take the green one if I have partners in crime.....
It's a fantastic, mind-blowing, utterly enjoyable experience, with staggering scenery, fantastic, breathtaking roads, wonderful cities and towns to visit..Even Venice isn't too far, and Verona is great...
My suggestion would be to use somewhere between Verona and the Lakes as a base, and make trips out from it...whether by car on the above roads, or by train for a day out if no-one wants to drive for a day. North Italian passes, the Dolomites, and Austrian alps are all within a day's drive.....
I'll bring the table of costs tonight...then it's up to individuals....
Who wants to make up for wet Scotland? Who wants to have their breath taken away? Who's coming?

High Ade shame you didn't make it we had a little drizzle at the pub but not much
Good meeting though went through a few things and events coming up in the near future
good to see Rick & Emily his Daughter, Pete and Diane, Paul & Pat, Chris (hope you enjoyed your first pub meet)
Tony and me. the food was spot on again and I wasn't the only one eating Clive!!
More T shirts now on order.
we still have £110 in the pot for a Sale Flag. Club Gazebo now purchased, any more contributions to the club fund by anyone who hasn't yet are more than welcome £20.00 is the amount, if you wish to contribute just let me know list of contributors so far on the Gazebo Post.
