Trev as i said don't think i will be available till the end of January. But maybe a good time to do it possibly get good deals on hotels maybe have a night out wherer everyone can have a beer. Chester, Manchester or Liverpool or i noticed a couple of premier inns and a travel lodge attached to pubs on the A556 on way back towards the M6. See what everyone thinks

Did anyone pay by card on Tuesday?
I did and had some problems, twice it "didn't go through" and then the final time it did, I thought all was OK.
Very surprised to see on my bank statement this morning that there were two identical amounts debited to my account from the The Cabbage
Rang the bank and they told me they would refund as it was only a small amount BUT that I should really have made sure that I had both of the void receipts from the card machine - I had become fed up and only collected one of the two supposed void receipts - so strictly speaking they didn't have to help me as it was my fault.
No issue with the bank on this, good lessen learnt for me however no so impressed with The Cabbage, not complained to them yet since I got my money back but might be wise just to check your statements if you had difficulty with their card machine!!!

Sorry to hear that, Chris...we paid cash, so wouldn't know...
Seems at least your bank used some common sense. I would have it out with the Cabbage..people in this country don't like to complain...but do it loudly enough, and you'll get a free drink at least. I always do....
