Thanks for the heads up on the helments Trev
I've got my eldest's motorcyle helmet but not sure if its the right spec. I know the track day requirements are for certain standards - but not sure what they are! Is there some sort of EU standard or mark that I can check for on the helmet?

Chris..I'll have two sizes of full face with me. Both Caberg, both meet track standards...not used much, if you're stuck, one of them must fit you.....

as you won't be going above 30mph as long as its full face that's all they require

Their email contained an itinerary and circuit map, together with some guidelines on taking a licence(both parts), footwear, waterproofs, etc.
It was sent as a 3 page pdf attachment to a confirming email.
