Looks fabulous. Yes please if it will fit the E1. You speak of a coloured mesh. What colour?

Couple of things : I'm not sure it will fit a 'droop' nose E1. I have both this and a SuperSix nosecone (which I intend to fit, and used for the template), so will see if my existing droop grill fits onto the SuperSix. Secondly, the grille is supplied in plain stainless steel. It's up to individuals after that...powder coat, paint, adding mesh behind, etc is down to us. I'm doing mine in black, and will add some mesh painted Kawasaki Green behind it to stop small stones, and for aesthetics. Of course, they can be fitted as they come.....

Paul did you use your new nose from ssc as the template? Rick

Yes....NOT my Cat E1. This grille was modelled on the aperture for a Super Six nose cone which I have, and will fit instead of the droopnose. Although, as I say, I'll check...to see if they're the same...unless Tony can fill us in. I suspect the E1 grill is different

Hi Chaps. I have got the original flat front Supercat nosecone supplied by Tiger Racing, not the Southways one. The grill opening measures 500mm wide x 250mm high, with a lip around the inside that leaves an opening of 460mm x 210mm (all approx within a couple of mm). Would these be the correct dimensions for the main outer edge , not including the four lugs, as I would be cutting these off so as to screw the outer 'band' onto the inner mounting face? (Hope this all makes sense?) Could they also be made with just the Tiger head on and not the writing? Cheers. Pete. Oh yeah, after all that I am interested

I'm interested if it fits my Tiger without the writing if possible, could you get the measurements without the lugs, mine is the same as Pete's. Clive.

I'd prefer it without the writing too if that's possible Rick

Pete...the measurements you give are the ones of the aperture in the Southways cone supplied to me. I made a cardboard template, and asked the supplier of the grille to make it just a tiny bit smaller to allow for expansion. If Trev also agrees to have the Tiger logo removed, can I then please have a definitive yes or no from all interested parties.??

Hi Paul. If it's definitely 500mm x 250mm overall sizes and you can do me one without the writing I will have one. If the tags stick out beyond these dimensions it's not a problem, I can just snip them off. Cheers Pete
