Copied this from main Tiger Forum, does anyone fancy meeting up for a run out.( This is the weekend after the Stafford Show )
"How about a trip to what is reputedly the 2nd highest pub in England. The Cat & Fiddle Inn, 5 miles west of Buxton on the A537 in the heart of the beautiful Peak District - proposed date is Saturday 26th September 2009."
Regards Mike

The A537 between Macclesfield and Buxton draws motorcyclists from all over the UK. Its bends, curves, straight sections are akin to the Isle of Man TT, so Im told. Theres hardly a summer weekend goes by without some silly sod hurting themselves on this road. So .... ideal for the Tiger ? you betcha but be warned this road figures in just about every Police, type, stop, camera, action, docudrama and the bizzies prowl this road in their unmarked cars and plod bikes. Put ya foot down, start throwing it around and you quickly see blue lights behind you. Great road though and the (edit) The Cat and Fidle Pub at the top is a great watering hole. Looking forward to this one. Dave

Hi there - I'm the one who is organising this.
What Mike forgot to mention is that we (the East Anglia lot) were looking at having a meal at the pub. Now as this place gets busy as it is a favourite biker stop we were going to book in advance.
So if you want a place reserved at the meal can I have a £10 cash deposit (which you will get back on the day)
Please post the deposits to before the 11th of September.

Dave
just like to say thanks for a really great run out today to
the "Cat & Fiddle",after a bit of a grey start weather turned out
really good and some of those roads were great, pity about some
of the slower traffic at times and the coach spoiling the view
(where was that again)
