07/08/2010-08/08/2010 39th Annual RAF Woodvale rally at Woodvale Aerodrome near Southport, Merseyside. It has many varied attractions including vintage and classic cars and motorcycles, car clubs, motorcycle clubs, military vehicle displays. There is a large aoromodeller and model flying contingent; model boat and model railway enthusiasts, a car boot sale, fairground, childrens shows and entertainers, live music and many trade stalls. It is a weekend event with on-site camping and a bar. www.woodvale-rally.org.uk/Local to me but a good place to aim for if the weather is good Edd

Bit confused by entry forms !!!! have emailed club organiser re clarification. To those that have been before, did you park in the general public car parking area or did you pre register? thanks Mike

when I have been I have parked with all the other public on the old runway that they use as the carpark . but if you are part of a club then they were letting them through a different lane and onto the grass area where they had alocated your pitch . G W

In past years I have always parked with the general public. For us all to get together we would need a club pitch.

wouldnt mind meeting @ woodvale if ok with you chaps. only 40 mins from where i live. be good to put some faces to names. from past experiences its a cracking day out. parking could be an issue. guess i will just look for other tigers. shouldnt be too hard to spot.......mines a red Q.

Just had entry form for club pitch.(closing date 1 July) They want me(us) to prepay £5 for each vehicle attending. It makes organising too difficult for me, so we will give the club pitch a miss. Mike

Might be best for those who want to go to enter as individuals but try to meet up on the site. Its worth entering to get in for just £5. Think that's what Ill do, again subject to having a road worthy Tiger! Ed
