Hi all , I need to replace the fixed fuel needles with the dynojet type ,the ones with the grooves in . Had car at AB's on sat and the taper on the needle is giving me a rich fuel setting at mid throttle ( cruising ) . Its ok at idle and had to change jets from 190 down to 125 to get full open throttle right . So I'm measuring up the oem needles to see what I can replace them with .

Thanks edd, I have now ,hopfully ordered some needles that will fit and give me the adjustment I need . Allens Performance stock Keihin needles at £6 + vat each . So I have ordered 3 sets of 4 in different tapers , lengths and dia.

A lot better ,tickover to low speed is smoother and with the short travel of the pedal you can go to full throttle very quick ;D
they should stay in tune a lot longer , less moving parts .
Got the needles today ,they came without the e clips ,so had to sorce some on net . Also decided to change the rubber diaphrams as I had a hole in one which AB fixed . But it wont last . Will let you know after I go back to ABs to finish the car setup.
