Well went up to AB garage today and I'm a happy tiger owner again . Adrian worked his magic on the carbs and its like another car . Soooo much better and it will save me money on the go juice . My mod to the original needles didn't work , still too rich at mid throttle. So the new needles I bought had to be used , they needed 4 washers under the clip to lift them and adrian had to machine the taper down to give the correct Lambda readings , but we got there in the end. He did some power runs first was open carbs ,2nd with filter on and we got same readings ,that was good . 3rd with bonnet on this lost 3hp top end but smoothed out mid range and gave me 2hp back . So I'm very pleased with the out come . see pics

Did you buy the complete carb kit from Bogg Bros ? Been speaking to them today and I'm sorely tempted I was stinking of fuel on sunday !

Hi matey , I got the carbs and the manifold which they made for the engine I have (pinto) , so for you it would be a zetec one . It was £440 in the end . But they can't garentee what make of carbs they use . So like me I had all that trouble with the needles and the setup .
I think R1 carbs are the ones to get if you can find them . Or ZX9 s they have the TPS fitted for megajolt sys. They will just make a manifold and you could get the carbs yourself ,maybe .
