well yet another brilliant summer of wind and rain, has passed us by. hope you all managed to get out in the few good spells that we had. i have decided to bite the bullit and fit my new hood this winter,its been sitting in a box for two years.
i was wondering if any of you had any tips on fitting.
would you advise fitting the female press studs to the back body piece first, or hole punching the male ends into the hood first. i have to confess its one job i am not looking forward to.

Hi Jon , the male parts go around the tub and down the sides. The 2 parts of the female cup go either side of the hood material.

I would place the hood over the car/roll bar and do the screen part 1st .Has the screen got studs on it ?

My car had studs for the tonneau cover and boot cover so I matched the hood to suit them . I had to fit studs to the screen though. See pic
