hi all , got new project on the go , I wanted to move the oil filler cap to rear of the cam cover so went and got one off ebay .I have made a pipe and welded it to rear of the cover also blanked off the old hole . But to fit new cover I have to move the header tank so bought a new alloy tank to go on the bulkhead. i'm also going to make a catch tank so the filler cap and the block breather pipes can connect to it .see pics so far. Hi mate, yeah tinker time has arrived, took mine out for an hour on sunday for a last spin before I put the new steering rack on and hopefully get the gearbox rebuilt.

P.S. is the header tank a 'mini beer barrel' ? I've been given a CBS one that my mate didn't like

Mine's a horizontal tank with grooves around it like a beer keg, not what I would have bought but for the price of a pint it'll do !

Yes the filler cap is too big with the breather pipe on it.
