Well I've been missing out now for nearly three years! Not any more
The story so far bought my tiger Super 6 in 97 1999 blow up No1 Pinto no great loss put in a Zetec black top with Webber platinum carbs with Semi race cams set up by Webcon 190BHP at the fly. Then in 2007 Changed the gearbox to a Quiafe alloy semi-helicoil long first ratios.
1: 2.733
2: 1.769
3: 1.312
4: 1.041
5: 0.850
with a lightened and balanced flywheel but then didn't get around to change the ARP bolts on the big ends! big mistake 2010 blow up No2 big time No 4 and 2 con rods escape through the block and sump! So new engine and added a stage three head change to bike carbs with Megajolt and happy days. Took it out for the first time went through Llangollen caught the sump on a pot hole didn't even get 100 miles on the clock, oil dumped on the road within a mile! got it recovered repaired the sump thought I'd got away with it until two weeks later at AB Garage on the rolling road the big ends went west. :'(Now on to engine No3 each time Duncan and Graham came to the rescue changing all the engines for me took the car out last year for a drive and within 200miles the clutch started slipping so I got little use last year.
The good news is, as of today, it's now in the hands of Duncan and Graham once again for a new clutch, Yes I knew I should of done it last time the engine was out but hindsight is as you know! AB Garage once again on Friday and ready for me to collect this coming Saturday Yippee.
so I will be willing to go out on any runs this year, get the most out of this Car.
This is a very shortened version of the life of Q912TYE.
