Hi All some details of the day, Giles has mailed me a application form so if anyone is up for this let me know and i will mail you a copy. Sounds like fun and a good opportunity to meet other kit / tiger owners, i am going to attend, if anyone else is interested best not leave it to long or there will be no places available. The track details are at www.curborough.co.uk write ups of the previous events are available at www.gilescooper.co.uk (look for trackdays) As to track time - a lap of the circuit takes around 45 seconds for the fast section and another 15-20 to get back to the parking area. Typically with 10 drivers you are looking at 6 runs/hour. However a lot of people go for a group of runs and then have a break before going out for another block. We have on rare occassions had the track empty during the day (either heavy rain or too hot). It is a 900 yard sprint track which is used for one car at a time. This makes it relatively safe as only one car is out on track (the track is only about 4M wide at the narrowest point). It takes place no matter how much it rains! You need to wear natural fibres - or fireproof overalls. In the unlikely case of fire synthetic materials melt. All drivers and passengers when on circuit must be wearing crash helmets - the only exception to this is when doing the sighting laps Signing on time is 9:30 - the gates will be open from approximately 9AM. You are required to sign a disclaimer for the circuit. Start time for the track is 10AM - we then run through till 1PM where there is an hours break for lunch after lunch we run then 2PM till 5PM There are no on-site catering facilties, there is a place you can get food less than 5 minutes from the circuit. The nearest petrol station is about 5 miles away on the A38 northbound (if it has reopened as it closed for a refit when we were last there) You are taking part in this event at your own risk. The organiser takes no responsiblity for any accident or injury that may occur. Your normal road insurance will not cover you for any accidents that occur on circuit.

Phil / Trevor
I have attached a link to a google map which has Phil as location A, the Track as location B and Trevor as location C (these are obviously rough approximates as I don't know your addresses).
I will leave it to yourselves to find the best route - although I did take the M6 toll out of Phil's side of the route.
Any questions email me:
