I've ordered some materials for a new half hood and a new way of fixing it to the screen. Will do some pics as I get the stuff and start making the bits . Watch this space .  Graham |

By half hood do you mean a bikini top? meaning it just covers between the screen and top of the rollbar, thus keeping the rear open?

ok , I'm going to make it fit to the tops of the doors with velcro strips the same as my full hood .
But will have to remove the press studs from the screen frame so thats why i will make the half hood first .

started to do the frame on fri . had trouble with the bends at the ends. Then went for a plate each side of the corners to hold the shape. Going to try and weld these on instead of pop rivets to keep the inside of the channel clear so i can fit the rubber and the canvas to a flat surface. hope thats all clear , will do pics soon .

Got the hood all cut out and stiched together ,got the tensioning straps for the rear all done . The front clamping rail is all done just need to glue the cover to the rail now and then stich velcro on above the doors .
Also thinking of making a couple of clamping levers to pull the rail onto the screen frame . Thats it so far .
