Coming back from watching the Track day at Aintree and you can probably guess what happened ! Stopped at traffic lights on down hill section of road and a woman run into the back of the Tiger. She got out of her car and said the handbreak didnt work ! I could not beleave it and then I saw the dreaded "P" (pass) plate on her bonnet. Can it get any worse ? luckily she had all her insurance details etc with her. So off next week to Chester Sportscars for estimate of costs, will need new rear tub and lights, chassis looks ok I hope. The only problem I see is getting the yellow match correct, ? need an all over respray. Mike

Ouchy!! I do hope you didnt suffer any neck unjuries ;D its amazing how these things can tend to go unoticed until the next day ;D Where theres blame theres a claim I think the colour matching will be fine, amazing what they can do these days in the body shop.

Sorry to hear that Mike, hope your o.k. I hate to say it but the yellow on mine was different to one Graham had in the shop when that tyre wall jumped out in front of me, that was one of the reasons i never got it, although that was an Avon and i know they altered the body work slightly so that may of had something to do with it. If your doing any of the work yourself and need a hand/lift with anything just give me a call mate, if you've lost my number i'll PM it on locost if you need it. Hope it all works out Paul

Good news its only the back tub thats damaged new one on order. Got stuck in yesterday with alloy and pop rivets. Is back on the road. Time to enjoy the good weather. Renew back tub added to list of "todoos" must also replace rad which has started to leak with Polo one. Mike
