Good luck on Tuesday ,hope it passes ,so you can start to really enjoy it on the open road.I never went through all the nerves thing as i bought mine ready built from CSC,i know what you mean about the dentist though, its bad enough just going for an MOT sometimes.

I passes my SVA four years ago, how time flies when you are enjoying the car you built yourself.
I you want me to look over your car let me know, sometimes four eyes are better than two.

hi mike.
no but its nothing drastic. was there from 8am till 4pm . failed on mainly cosmetic i.e lamp support brackets not rounded off enough?. track rod end nuts not covered windscreen surround not rounded off enough, one back wheel slihtly protruding from bodywork,
my main concern was carbs out of ballance giving a high reading on emision test.
over all it was a good experience and at least i know what to do to put it through.
also front cycle wings not 30 degree forward from centre line of wheel.think i will have to try some larger ones to cure that one any one got any for sale? . the best part was driving it round their test area,it handled like a dream. i reckon another month should see me heading for my mack certificate dont know where to get carbs sorted though . he was very complimentry on build quality though. to be honnest its not as bad as it sounds, and i have got six months to sort it.

I've never had to go throug it but if my car failed on those points I wouldn't be too upset, a bit of fettling and you'll be on the road
