I actually got in the garage today and done some tinkering on the tiger, some of you should remember the issue i had with my break lights, it works off a pressure switch put inline between the master cylinder and one of the brake pipes, it worked ok but didnt register very good when only putting light pressure on the pedal, some of the guys said that my brake lights sort of flickerr on and off. so i have now added a micro switch onto the brake pedal so my break lights now come on as soon i touch the brake pedal, so this should hopefully cure it. I have also left the pressure switch wired in just in case the micro switch ever goes down.

have you fitted it so as soon as the pedal moves OFF the switch it closes and brings the lights ON ? ie NORMALLY CLOSED SWITCH

Ok got in the garage today too finish the brake light switch as i had an issue with the brake lights staying on. This is due to the brake pedal not always returning all the way home. When i was at stoneliegh i bought some springs to put on the brake pedal to ensure it returned all the way after braking, i made up a bracket to fit to the pedal arm that i could fix the spring too and i was going to fix the other end of the spring to bracket i made that stops the brake pedal coming to far forward. So i started to take off the brake pedal itself (i already had the brackets off to measure up for the new spring bracket) as soon i as started to undo the bottom bolt that holds the brake pedal to the floor the brake pedal moved back the correct position so basically the problem was that i had over tightened slightly the brake pedal and this was the issue causing it not to come all the way home so i spent a couple of hrs making a bracket for sod all So the moral of the story here is to check the easy solutions first.

Yep sometimes it all fits in place when you start to take things apart . Nice one phil . ;D ;D Just an add on to brake lights , I've now fitted a high level brake light to the roll bar . Think its the same as one I saw on Pete's car last time we meet at Petrolheads . So Trev you will be able to see me brake now I HOPE . Graham
