What a brilliant day. Phil and I met up at Dowbies Nr Shrewsbury about 11.30 and then went on to the show, on the way we had to have a play, over taking and side by side down the duel carriage way, as you do, which was great fun but for me what made it a bit special was a ford focus that followed us for about 20 miles. The driver had his young son about 9-10 years of age on board and every time we passed them or the other-way around the kid had the biggest smile you've ever seen on his face jumping up and down on his seat he was so happy obviously enjoying every minute, of coarse Phil and I played to the audience! ;D We got onto the M6 and there was a 50 speed limit in roadworks for ten miles which again gave us the opportunity to lord it up driving two abreast. it was a really good feeling driving so close for that length of time of cause attracting allot of attention from the passing traffic. Once at the show, we found around 30+ Tigers a good turn out and thousands of other kits. The stalls wasn't as many this year but there were still plenty, bought a few tools (as you do) oh and FOOD! Set of back about 5.30 again having some jollies on the way back accelerating away from roundabouts at full pelt side by side brilliant fun. and again being pursued by a guy in a ford with a camera (not a copper) then a Golf R6 wanted to race Phil and I just blasted pass slowed down then he had to prove a point didn't he doing the same to us. All in all the journey to and from the show was the great fun possibly the best part for me, the weather was great, in fact I got sun burn on my face, not funny I can tell you still suffering today. It was a really good day and I can't wait till the next day out. Shame you couldn't of joined us. Trev. ;D ;D ;D
