just wundering if anything decided about o.m.fest. as far as meeting up somewhere, be good to go in together.
has anyone received any other contact other than name on entry list? i was under the impression we would be receiving window passes by post.?

Hi , I think the final details are still not done yet . The "floor plan " hasn't been done either ,might be this week coming they are leaving it to the last minute though .

This time I think ,for me it will be M6, M58 , come off at J3 onto A570 Ormskirk Rd. When you get on the A570 after a small roundabout thers a layby we could meet here . Time will be decided later ,not sure what time you can start parking up for the show .
How does that sound guys . Have a look on google maps and see what I'm on about .

I will be straight onto m58. I know the layby you mean. How many cars are coming? Tis a big layby but often busy with lorries and cars parked up. There is a pub (sandpiper I think) little further up on left. Big car park so maybe better if a few of us.
Weather supposed to be good for bank holiday weekend.

There are always disappointments, as we can only accommodate about 50% of all entries but if you haven't been lucky, please still attend as we have turned down a lot of late entries!

I am in park 4 whilst all others in park 3. Gonna try and change. It also states that all of us are static displays only!
Unless I read it wrong but pretty sure I haven't.
Tiger owners are numbers 212-219. I am 264

I've had the same e-mail, I have e-mailed M.Ashcroft to tell him I will not be attending and to give my place to somebody else maybe you steve. I don't agree with telling you one week before the event that your not in the parade, he told me that somebody had said that all Tigers wanted there own display area.

Hi Mike , I'm really gutted that all the members of the NWATOC have not been allocated a parade slot everyone filled in the form and put down No to Static display and YES to " I wish to participate in the parade and agree to abide to the organisers terms and condition " . So if you have any clubs that want a space in the park please feel free to let them have it .

That is incorrect. I have checked all your entry forms and you all agreed to enter as a Static display as well as indicating that you wish to be considered for the parades.

Just because you agree to being in the parades does not mean that you will be selected for them.

We have never had this type of response from ANY club or organisation.

We have to try and strike a fair and equitable balance amongst all clubs and have certainly given no undertaking to your club or any other that all cars entered would be allocated a place in the parades.

I've just emailed back the reply he sent me in Dec 2012 and it shows I said NO in 2 places to a static display .

I know we wont get anywhere with it . Did anyone else say yes to both ,may be because you hadn't been before ?

I asked Mike a question, and his reply was rubbish so I sent him this message.
Thank you for you quick reply, The whole attraction of your event is the parade, otherwise it's the same old car show [been to many] and after a few years they become a bit of a bore, yours sounded different. You sent out e-mails saying it's time to get excited your in, then one week before the event you tell 50% of the entrants they will not be in the parade not very exciting bit of a let down, takes the edge off the whole thing, and because of that I will not be attending you can give my place to somebody else. If only 50% of cars can take part in the parade you should cut the number of entries, I think 90% of entrants do so for the parade. Clive
