Hi chaps
I am in the process of making some changes to my Cat E1 including installing new acrylic door cards in lovely shiny red thanks to Trevor showing off his ;-) and now need to replace my well worn original plastic ones but am not sure where to get them from?
Has anyone had some new ones recently and if so where from and would you recommend them?
Demon Tweeks do some nice chrome ones for caterham but I am presuming they will be too short. I have also been on the carbon mods website who state they do some for the tiger e1 but I am not convinced as they state that the measurements of theres for the e1 is 650mm in length and 40mm inner width yet I measure my cat e1 to be 600mm in length and around 38mm in width including my new acrylic door card?
Darren

If you mean the bit you slide over to climb in I used a plastic angle strip from B&Q and sprayed it black, cheap as chips and easy to change if it gets worn.

I used some sheet metal and bent it to shape then wrapped it with the same leatherette used elsewhere on the car.
