Had this email from Ian "Molestrangler " Hi Graham Details for the Derbyshire Run, 2014. The route is progressing and I will let you have full route details as soon as I have prepared them. I have reverted back to the old start point at Ripley and will also use it as a finish point for this year. Lunch stop will be the Travellers Rest just outside Castleton and this will allow us to take a run up the Winnats Pass, we came down it a few years ago. The lunch stop has a big, level car park and can easily cater for us but they have asked if we can advise on food 24 hours in advance - no pre payment is required. I have attached a copy of their menu which I would appreciate you sharing with NWTOC before the run, the pub has it's website at www.travellers-rest.net.The first part of the run will be about 32 miles, the second part about 50 miles and if we aim to leave the start for 11.30 this will allow plenty of time for a steady (and occassionally not so steady) run. Some of the route is over the Derbyshire moors with stunning views where you can see for miles and some of the route features the very picturesque Derbyshire Dales I will shortly put the details onto the TOC site for anyone else to join in, hopefully Giles and the crew from NWTOC will also join us again. I will also let the local Westfield Owners Group know about the run just in case they want to join us, since selling my Tiger ( to a guy who will be on the run) I have splashed out and bought a factory built Westfield. Be in touch soon. Ian Passed on by G W

Update from Ian , he has sent me files for the route and tulip symbols and a menu for the lunch stop , will post to anyone who wants to go this year.
Graham, Route details for this years Derby Run attached to enable you to post on your website. There is a tulip road book (page 4 has only 2 tulips as I needed to amend the route to avoid a very tricky junction) and sat nav routes in Garmin and Tyre formats. There is also a copy of the available food, I will check on their website closer to the run to ensure the menu has not changed. The lunch stop have asked if I will advise them 48 hours before the run as to what meals are wanted so they can ensure they have enough produce to cater for us - I am not being asked to pay in advance so no need for you to try and collect any money. Therefore I need you to email me a list of names and meals by Thursday 4th September please.
The run has reverted to its original start point, it also finishes there, date is Saturday 6th September and it would be good if we could start at 11.30 as in previous years. Look forward to seeing you again.
Cheers G W
