Hi Trev , just saw you are looking at 16" wheels . Found this tyre calculator , you will need 205/40/16 tyres to keep your speedo correct . Graham PS its not a common size had a look and not many places doing this size

Thanks Graham 16" like 14" are an odd size and not widely avaliable but the tyre's I'm after R1R's come in these sizes the rears are going to be 225/45/16 and the fronts 205/45/16 my speedo is out at the moment by about 20% so when I see 70 I'm actually doing 82 so the calculation should be closer when I change the rears will be bigger in diameter thus bringing the speed back into line I will double check with your calculator.
Trev.

Well I have finally done it! I have gone for some Force racing 3 peace Billets Bespoke and hand made polished alloy wheels Fronts are 7" 13s with a 2" instep and the rear 9" with a 3" instep 13s staggered look. and here are the bad boys Hope you like them as much as I do. 18 months in the search and finally, well worth the wait and the money! The tyres are Avon Cr500 205/55/13 front and the rears are 245/45/13 Real wide! fills out the rear arches beautifully. After being out on a run today I have to say the tyres are Awesome what a difference from before smoother and the grip is unreal and that's on damp cold roads can't wait til summer. Trev.
