List of attendees so far Ade Clive Tony Graham Steve Me ....Der.. Pete.
To Confirm..... Phil, Darren, Dave,S Steve,R, Chris, Dave,M, Paul, Rick.
As we are making this a charity event I would like to do the same as last year with the photo's to raise money for our local Hospice I would like ask you all if you would be willing to offer a prize from us which I think would raise a lot more money! The idea is to raffle of a day's run out as passengers with us? I think that if we sell a raffle ticket for a pound and £5 for a strip we could collect a good sum and in the process put some smiles on people's faces and take them out for a run we would have to restrict it to an age of 16+ So I would like your thoughts on this.
Thanks
Trev.

Hi Trev it sounds a good idea, but I would think a logistical nightmare to organise, location of members, location of passengers, availability of members, availability of passengers, all at the same time when the sun is out, and the same day, it would be a lot easier to do something on the day if we have easy access to the entrance and maybe do a 5 mile run for a small fee. You could advertise a day out to see what response you get on the day.Just my thoughts. Clive

Hi Trev I didn't read your post properly if a raffle and only one winner there is no problem they can go in your car, easy. Clive

Perhaps being a bit paranoid but might be worth looking into what you're liable for if money changes hands for a trip and there's a smash ? Sure a simple disclaimer would suffice if needed, as I said maybe worryworting but we live in a blame and claim world these days Tony

Resurrection of this old thread Chaps we are now getting very close to the event Dave that would be great if you can muster up your boys to come along.
To Confirm..... Darren, Dave,S Steve,R, Chris, Dave,M, Paul, Rick and Sam to join in then we have a full house.
As I proposed in an earlier post to offer a day out driving with us as a raffle prize to raise more money,
we go out as a group most Sundays and having a passenger for a day and show them what Kit cars are all about will be good for us and for Claire House Hospice. I can arrange a route at some point and depending on the weather make the day soon after. collection of the passengers would be at the same venue at the school as for liability it's he same as taking anyone family, friend, etc. it's not hire and reward.
who will offer this Day's driving for a good cause?
Trev.

Sorry Trev but will not be able to offer my passenger seat for a day as Sue will be in it, but if you offer rides on the day for a donation then I'm up for that if it helps. Clive.

Trev, I think I will have to count myself out as my new dash is nowhere near done and definitely won't be ready in time. I am even dreaming of bloody wires at the moment :-( Sorry Darren
