Cams for my Zetec

I just happen to look on Ebay yesterday and noticed a pair of 285 Piper cams up for sale
for my Zetec so I bid and I won yeehaa I now have a set to put into my car to go with the Stage 3 gas flowed head
so another 15BHP coming my way should get me over the 210bhp mark and an extra 50Nm of torque

That's it now no more on the engine didn't even plan to by these just an opportunity at the right price

So in the near future I will have a set of 270 semi race cams for sale.

Are they NEW cams Trev , was it a full installation kit ?
Your car will be quite rough at low revs with the setup you are going for , maybe and you wont be able to get that power down on the road anyway .
Cars too light .

Went to A&B yesterday
for the new cams to be fitted so before with the 270's I had 161bhp at the wheels and 313Nm from 40 to 80mph
Well I'm not disappointed 176bhp at the wheels with 347Nm that's a gain of 15bhp and 34Nm of torque happy days
about 208-210bhp at the fly......
runs a little rough now on tick-over but I expected that
very happy with the results

Cracking that Trev and good gains, what power to weight will your S6 be now then?

Hi Ade about 350bhp per ton

but the main gain for me is the torque in low to mid range it really pushes
you back in your seat it works out at about 530Nm per ton if that's how you work it out
car weighs 690kg + 90kg with me in it lol.
