Trev, there 1.5mm thick, I only have mine fixed on the mounting bolts for the fuel tank. All it needs is 2 on the out side chassis rails. I was going to mount it there but I didn't want to drill my chassis.
I shall take a pic tomoz and post it up.

Definitely...1.5mm looks strong enough for me. I only have a 150bhp Pinto...unlike Trev, my top speed is dictated not by my right foot, but by the lump under my bonnet. Tiger Cat E1...

Right so how are we going to do this if some of you guys want one, do people want me to supply the alloy sheet etc?
Also I'm going to need to measure one of each Tiger model so that the right size can be made.
Trev, if you want one that's easy as its the same as mine etc.

The major one is costs, what are people happy to pay. I know it depends on the price of alloy sheet but anyone have a sensible idea?

To be fair, I should have discussed all this the other night at the pub meet, lol.

Where do you want the measurements taken from?. Do you have a drawing that i can just use and just add the dimensions? Mine is a Cat XL. I would need you to purchase the material. Cost would need to include shipment to Airdrie ML6 area. Back to you .... How much and how do I pay you .....
Oh could you post up some pictures on how you secured it to you kit.
ta Jim.

Is there any Cat XL's in the north west I can take measurements from?

Hi Ade. Not sure but I think the area under the rear of the XL chassis, where you are mounting to, is the same as the Supercat.(Assuming you are using box section ares to mount to) I think the only difference to the box frame/chassis is on the side outer rails, which extend out a bit further, giving extra width in the seating area each side. You could perhaps confirm this with Graham or Duncan at CSC, or Paul at Tiger. If this is correct you are welcome to have a shufty at mine and take any measurments you want. Cheers Pete

Hi Jim, I've been a tad busy as sorting daughter's wedding which is tomorrow.
Once this weekend is over I can hopefully start.

I think Clive's is a supercat xl My supercat is in Oldham and has no rear bodywork on if this makes it any easier to measure chassis Rick
