Guess what after having my cams fitted it seems to have disturbed my water pump after going out on Sunday with Graham I noticed my temp going up and up Mmmmm reservoir empty? filled her up and noticed it was dripping water from the front of the engine filled her up twice more on the way home 2ltrs a time. It's now in with Duncan and Graham being looked after so I thought it was the water pump Housing that was leaking but had a call from Graham saying that they had removed it and resealed it but it was still leaking!!!!! So I am now waiting to find out what the problem really is? Bad news coming I feel Trev.

Seems it was a pinhole in the core blocker. A tiny thing in a small, easily replaced part, which could have ruined Trev's trip. Fixed while I was there with my car. Close call there..I bet Trev was having kittens... Meanwhile, once mine is actually running OK, it's in for an MOT on Monday. Should fly through.. He said.

Hi All yep as Paul said just below the verniers and above the water pump you can't see it it's all covered While it was there I got the spark plugs, windscreen washer bag fitted and gear linkage block replaced and fully checked over all done and £380 lighter BOOM!!
Still it could have been a lot worse for me and a major disruption for you lot on the Scotland Cruise..
Trev.

Glad to hear all now OK, Trev. :-). We were there at 8:00 and when the doors went up,I immediately recognised your motor. Graham showed me what was wrong...such a tiny hole to allow so much water out... Still, one new core plug later.....
My carbs are fitted. Session at A&B showed my ignition unit was about to fail, and had not helped with all the backfiring, stalling, and non starting... So new one fitted tomorrow, plus amends to suspension geometry, and all fit to go.....
MOT on Monday..and we're set. Will take it for some runs during the week, to bed things in....

I have tried wrapping my exhaust, but simply can't find a tool capable of cutting the metal ties....
