Thanks for the responses Rick - ouch, looks good but sound expensive :-) Graham - dyno session said current limit was Webers so looking to fit these bike carbs as already in garage :-) Would expect to o'haul carbs before fitting and basic re-jet, already have combined filter regulator on car (although not 100% sure what pressure it's delivering) I guess biggest worry is needing a new bonnet! Probably not so much the cost but the re-painting to match rest of car.

Hi Chris. A quick fix for the bonnet, rather than replace, could be drop a mesh panel or a small scoop into it to cover the hole left where the air filter was. It would look like it's supposed to be there to 'help engine cooling' Pete

What members need to do is add all car details to their profile , under Signature so when they post it comes up at the bottom , makes it a lot easier to give advice or info .

Well done chris , thats what we like to see . The 1st thing for me was getting the carbs as close to the head as poss and at the right angle and to keep them under the bonnet . I see you have a MAP sensor this can cause a problem because you will have 4 seperate pipes+ carbs now this is why its best to use a TPS sensor on the end of the butterfly shaft . If you have to keep the MAP then you need 4 small pipes coming off the inlet manifold and they go into a chamber and then a pipe goes to the ing unit/module.
If you can get a ready made inlet man to suit your carb spacing and for a pinto head it would be a quicker step forward though.
