Right...no-one seems to know...what is the best source or type for a two-pedal, floor-mounted pedal box for a Cat E1?? Anyone give a definitive answer?

Mine was from OBP but it has 2 master cylinders for the brakes, don't know if they do a single version

Tony...how difficult was it to put in the two cylinder OBP version? How do I organise brake pipes..what goes where?

Depends which sierra cylinder you've got, some have 2 pipes so you just put one to each new cylinder, mine had 3 pipes so had to join the front circuit together with a T piece .Not a lot of room to alter the pipes so I used short braided hoses. Don't know if you'd have less room or more with a pinto

Thanks Tony...I can get a good 2 pedal box, with a cable clutch pedal, and find a workaround on the brakes. Maybe some garden hose and elastic bands. Just kidding....I'll find a way to fit it.

Nice bit of kit..but hydraulic clutch, and mine, as we all know only too well, is cable operated.... Bit more than I want to pay too... OBP have said they can make me one...

Paul is it not possible to find out whats causing the end of the cable to snap . Have you noticed when the clutch bite comes in is it half way or at the bottom of the pedal ? Could it be the cable is bottoming out and too tight ?

Hi Graham....firstly it was biting about halfway..then after it broke the first time, it was biting after less pedal travel. Then the second time, back to halfway. The third time it broke, Chester Sportscars fitted a cable, and the bite was after less pedal travel again. Since the third break, and the magic fix by TrevChris, the clutch bites after a lot of pedal travel. So far, it hasn't snapped..but then I haven't taken it far. It may be that it was too tight before...Trev is confident it will hold...but I just don't like the sideways / lateral movement in the pedal itself...too many washers on the base......and will feel more confident once a good pedal is fitted. Maybe then Trev can offer to work his magic again in fitting the cable...
