Hi guy's
After the events meeting it was decided that this year we would take a longer trip over 6 days starting on a Thursday and arriving back on the Tuesday. The route will be in reverse of last years trip and spend two nights possibly Three at Dundonnell given us a base and more chance of doing Applecross and other routes and we can relax a little more.
I am in the process of booking B&B's so would like to know if you are up for it? Costings will be similar to last years.
Cheers Trev.

I am currently working out the route and accommodation. We will be Driving direct and staying on the west coast going at Allt-Na-Craig Guest House on Loch Fyne. we will also be staying there on the way back on Monday evening (see link) www.alltnacraighouse-lochgilphead.com free image hostadult imageThe next day through Oban then stopping overnight nr Dornie.(accommodation TBA) Next day driving the Isle of Skye and Applecross then to the Dundonnell Hotel for two nights Routes for driving to be decided at the time. Then back down to the Allt-Na-Craig Guest House. This is set on the banks of Loch Fyne. Nr Oban it's A Victorian country house with breathtaking views over Loch Gilp and Loch Fyne situated in Ardrishaig, close to Lochgilphead in Argyll. We have booked the whole house four Doubles and one single. it will be B&B only but there are plenty of food places within walking distance Tea and Cake will be awaiting us. We will then make our way Home. T

Looks like I'd better bring netting galore...each hotel is next to water, and if memory serves, I got eaten alive last year by midges and mosquitoes. The little sods even filled my footwell for company each morning, chewing my legs to pieces...l'm allergic to their bites too, and need to bring an Epi pen....or two.... Maybe a flamethrower?

Should make the trip in April or May. Weather usually still good and the midges aren't around then. Used to do a lot of walking round Scotland but never in summer months. Might even be cheaper. Not trying to throw spanner in the works by the way.
