This Sunday 4-10-09 it is the midlands breakfast club run if the weather is good does anybody fancy it?
It's at RAF Cosford. They meet for breakfast from about 9 to 9.30 am until about 12 to 12.30pm.

Hi Dave
yes was thinking of going straight down the A41, looks the most
direct route could meet up at the services again if thats good for
yourself and Clive.Maybe taking my wife along too.
How long do you think it will take as would like to arrive there
about 10-30/11-00

So meet up at around 9AM at the Poplar services, junction of M6 and M56.
Maybe take an hour and a bit ??
Arrive 10-30 - 11AM
Hour and a bit no problem.
Noted the Wifes coming so I will ask mine to come also.
Clive, is all this OK with you ??

I saw the convoy going in the opposite direction ! Arrived just before 10.00, as I was entering the general car park a chap in a high viz jacket told me to park on the grass with the other "Exhibits" !!! Didn't have the courage to ask the owner on a Lola ?Can Am if it was genuine or a recreation. Left just after 11.00 sunny run both ways but passed under some very black clouds on the way home but no rain. Keep everyone posted if any other events crop up. Thanks for info on this one. Mike

yes sorry we were a bit late Mike, it was all Dave's fault turning up at the meeting point in his TINTOP!!!!!!!!! and took some persuading that the weather was going to brighten up(good job on that by the way Clive) ;D ;D Anyway we had a good look around the museum some amazing exhibits ,but by the time we came out most of the car clubs had gone. Yes Dave got home ok just a couple of spots of rain, kept ahead of the clouds. Hope you had a good day?

Hi Mike, Sorry we missed you, as Neil said it was all Dave's fault!!!! Did you manage to get round the museum? It was really good and no entrance fee (Even Better) well worth the visit, lots to see. Nice to eventually meet Neil and Mike his Son. It was good to see Brenda out braving the elements. Think we all enjoyed it,good journey back and no rain. Met a chap at The Ponderosa on the way back who had a Gilbern, he said if you join Liverpool Motors, for £10 you can have 2 Track Days per year at Aintree Race Course. Look forward to next run out. Cive

Pair of gits ;D
Listen it was persisting down all Sat night and Sun morning, I drove up to the services on Sun morning (in the rain) in my tin top not expecting anyone to be there, I should have known better, there is obviously no weather that can stop those two comedians, hehehehe
Glad you persauded me though and Bren really enjoyed it.
