Nice one Tony Graham, The route totals 1100mls but that can change it means we average 250mls a day which is about the same as going from yours to Anglesea and back. When we go out in north wales I average 200mls so you and Clive must be doing more than that so I hope this puts it into prospective and the scenery up there will be worth every mile!! I would be great to have us all together besides if you come along we are guaranteed good weather as you don't come out unless the sun shines lol.. Have a good think I will be posting the stops along the way very shortly. The average cost of a B&B at this time of year is £80-90. Trev.

Hi Trev & others. Thanks for effort you are putting in and the invite, but sorry we won't be able to join in on the Scotland Trip. I don't want to delay you getting things booked and sorted. We have got quite a lot happening this year and are not sure on dates and stuff at the moment. Hope a 'plan comes together' and you have a great 'road trip' . Hopefully catch up with you in the New Year. Cheers. Pete

Would love to come but money would be a problem for me. Couldn't spare the cash for fuel and accommodation and food. Maybe when my kids have grown up I maybe able to afford it. So jealous. Steve
