Hi every one I was talking at the Xmas get together about going to Europe next year and this brought up the discussion about doing a 4 day tour of Scotland possibly towards the end of July, starting on a Friday stopping along the way in B&B's and arriving back on the Monday. Hi Paul yep just putting a draft together at the mo
I will need to confirm numbers asap though and work out some deposits I have inquired about accommodation along the route and a lot of the good places are almost booked for July!!
so if I knew definite numbers I can start booking the overnight stays
the other option is to book somewhere really nice for three nights central in mid Scotland and have runs out from there
so whats the general opinion on the accommodation?

For me I would like somewhere different each night . If we have a fixed place then we might be saying oh got to get back now and its just like going out for a run at home .
I'm deffo in , but would like new places each night ,its only 3 nights .

I think if you had a B&B just north of Glasgow around Loch Lomond for the first night and the next two nights in one place further north you could go west one day north the next and east and home through Edinburgh. just a though. Clive

I still cant get the map file to open , looked on map and checked route to glasgow thats 200 + miles . Thought too far to go driving around up there .
