Hi all
All the hotels are confirmed and booked 5 rooms in each with a further 5 reserved.
The reservations for the further 5 rooms will only be held until the end of February.
I am in the process of getting the final costs together for each hotel on a dinner bed and breakfast basis once I have theses I will post the rates.
I have also posted this trip on the Tiger forum and on FB there are two Tigers in Scotland that wish to join us on part or all of the trip not sure which as yet also two from the Tiger forum.
Once the rooms rates are confirmed I will require a small deposit from those members wishing to come along
Really looking forward to this.
Trev.

Hi Chaps All the Hotels have now confirmed the prices edited emails I received. Rosslea Hall Hotel www.rossleahallhotel.co.uk/ I can offer you a rate of £109 for a standard double room and £99 for our single room. Our sea view rooms are charged at a £10 upgrade however the number of these in the hotel is limited therefore prebooking is essential. We offer dinner at a charge of £25 per person which is added to the rate at the time of booking therefore dinner bed & breakfast would cost £159 for a double and £149 for the single. Dundonnell Hotel Ullapool www.dundonnellhotel.com/We can offer you 7 – 8 Rooms on the night of 26 July, Dinner, Bed and Breakfast @ £58.50 per person; there will be no single supplement for the first 2 single rooms. I will provisionally reserve 8 rooms on 26 July and look forward to hearing further from you. Altamount Country House www.altamounthouse.co.uk/ Further to our previous telephone conversation I have just had confirmation of the 2014 prices. I can advise the cost of your stay for one night dinner bed & breakfast on 27th July 2014 would be £150 per room per night based on 2 sharing. I can also confirm that I have booked 5 double rooms and will hold a further 7 to be confirmed at your earliest convenience. I think these are good prices considering the time of year and all the others I looked at these offer the best all round deal let me know what you want as the first hotel offers a sea view Regards Trev.

1. Not bothered about having a seaview room...will be too shagged out, and it'll be dark anyway by the time we've found the bloody place. 2. Don't understand Graham...scenery is what some driving is about. I've driven all round Europe, and derestricted, but flat Autobahns get boring after a while...while the Grossglockner pass is a deathbed memory. 3. d**n fuel is gonna cost more than the hotels anyway 4. Security? Get a quick release for the s/wheel, and take it in turns to keep watch :-) 5. The Scots don't understand us anyway.. 6. The whole thing will be fun, including breakdowns, bad weather, sheep on the road, cost, getting lost, trying to keep up with Trev, gawping Scotsmen, nagging partners, or bits falling off. I thought that was what owning a Tiger was all about??

Sounds good to me and if there's a window it would be a waste not to see the sea ;D

On the security issue
I have had a chat with all the hotels and the security is very good to excellent all the places are away from the main roads and tucked away other than the Dundonnell which is in its self in the middle of no where and all have good sized car parks with no Sleeping policemen or any other Bumps to worry about I took a lot of time to choose these locations on price, Value, ease of entry (Stop it)! and Security
Hope this helps
Regards Trev.
